The most awaited smartphone during the year 2017 was the iPhone X. This was a revolutionary smartphone introduced by Apple. When iPhone 8 and 8+ were released many people still waited to get the iPhone X. At first Apple were not able to supply the demand for the iPhone X but now the scenario is totally changed.
The 10th Anniversary Edition of the iPhone launched by the Cupertino Giant was not much welcomed by the customers overseas. So Apple may shut down the production for the iPhone X due to the less sales of the device overall around the world. This is the first time that Apple has cancelled the production of an iPhone in its first generation itself.
One shocking report says that the iPhone 8 beat the iPhone X in overall sales in the year 2017 where the 8 was sold about 23% whereas the X was sold about 20%.
A tech expert says that this move by Apple will help them introduce more awesome phones in September and also an iPhone SE variant with Face-ID Technology.
