It's going so weird.The laptops are now facing fire issues.Lenovo recalls its ThinkPad laptops from China and US due to fire hazard issues.Almost 78,000 units of ThinkPad X1 Carbon Fifth Generation has been recalled.
Reason : The Company has stated that the reason is due to an unfastened screw which overheats the device and damages the battery.If it's not repaired it really catches fire.More than three fourth of the defective laptops are sold in China.
This specified model comes in Silver and Black color variants.The machine type is 20HQ,20HR,20K3 OR 20K4 and the serial no printed on the bottom of the laptop.Sources say that the 78,000 laptops were manufactured between Dec 16 to Oct 17.
The company has also requested the users using this reported model to check the link - https://support.lenovo.com/X1C_5GEN_RECALL-.This is to assure that their model is not in the defective laptops list.So,readers please ensure that your laptop is not in the list.They have also asked the users of the defective laptops to stop using it immediately.
