Tech Giant Apple has recently announced that they are going to change their software update strategy. The iPhone maker has announced that this move is due to the complaints by the users with iOS 11. The company is set to focus on rooting out all the bugs in their OS rather than focusing on new features.
Apple's software head Craig Ferderighi has laid out a new strategy for its upcoming software updates which will be mainly focused on fixing all the bugs in the OS. He also said that his team will have more time to work on new features and focus on under-the-hood refinements without being tied to a list of new features annually. He also said that the renewed focus on quality is designed to make sure the company can fulfill the promises made each summer so they the new features work as advertised.
In June this year, Apple will be releasing its new iOS 12 and has confirmed that it'll be focused on stability and bug fixes rather than new features.
